For the new season he elected to join Smejkal\u2019s Expres Auto Racing team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Team principal Smejkal made his TCR Eastern Europe debut in 2022, taking part in three events at the wheel of a CUPRA TCR run in cooperation with Aiditis Racing Team. In 2023, however, he will complete in the full season switching to a new CUPRA Leon Competici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt was clear from the start that it would be best for the team to run two identical cars. This will simplify the logistics and reduce the room for errors.
