Vít Smejkal’s name is well-known among Czech motor racing enthusiasts due to his participation in hill climb and circuit racing series. He spent several seasons behind the wheel of a Škoda Octavia KTCR in the prestigious Carbonia Cup series, where he won the overall title in the A group for modified touring cars in 2013. In 2022, Smejkal faced a new challenge in the TCR Eastern Europe championship, representing the Aditis Racing team and contributing to their success. For the 2023 season, Smejkal teamed up with Petr Čížek and together they founded their own team, EXPRES AUTO Racing. With new racing technology in the form of the Cupra Competicion, Smejkal and Čížek are preparing for the new challenges that lie ahead in the upcoming races. In preparation for the new season, the team is focused on improving their performance and achieving further success on the track.

Petr Čížek started his racing career in the Octavia Cup, where he competed in several races. He then moved on to the prestigious TCR Eastern Europe championship, where he raced for the Fullin Race Academy team and drove a Cupra León. In 2022, he finished in a fantastic third place in the overall standings of TCR Eastern Europe with a Cupra Competicion car.

For the 2023 season, he decided to take on a new challenge and, together with Vít Smejkal, is involved in leading the EXPRES AUTO Racing team. This team will compete with the new Cupra Competicion technology, and both drivers are ready to show their potential. Petr Čížek is looking forward to the upcoming season and believes that he will achieve further success with his new team.
